Karnataka Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital, Mangalore, Department of PG studies in Kayachikitsa organized a programme on the eve of "WORLD CANCER DAY” on 6/02/2023.The inaugural session was at 9:30 am and was inaugurated by the chief guest Mr. U.K Khalid, Administrative Officer SCS group of institutions.and Dr Ravi Rao S, Principal, KAMC, Mangalore.

The welcome address was delivered by Dr.Ravindra bhat, professor, Department of P.G studies in Kayachikitsa and deputy M.S followed by lighting the lamp by dignitaries.Chief guest address was by Mr. U.K Khalid, Administrative Officer SCS group of institutions. where he explained importance of awareness and education of cancer.The Winners of the poster competition was awarded, Presidential address was delivered by Dr Ravi Rao S, Principal, KAMC, Mangalore.The Guest lecture on the topic-Cancer-An AyurvedIic Perspective was by Dr,Waheeda Banu, HOD, Professor,Dept. of PG studies in Kayachikitsa,KAMC and the session was followed by another guest lecture by the resourse person Dr Beena ,Reader,Dept.PG studies in Kayachikitsa,JSS Ayurveda Medical College,Mysuru on the topic Cancer-A Palliative Care Through Ayurveda.Vote of thanks was delivered by Dr,Sahana. Assistant Professor Dept. of Kayachikitsa KAMC, mangalore and Master of Ceremony was done by Dr Sayujya.P.S final year PG scholar.The programme was attended by Teaching staffs, PG scholars ,Students, Interns of Karnataka Ayurveda Medical College. |
