A free medical camp on Rheumatoid arthritis was conducted on 17.04.2023 from 9 am to 4 pm at Karnataka Ayurveda Medical College, Mangalore. Camp was inaugurated by Dr. Ravi Rao, Principal , KAMC, Dr.Uday. D.K Medical Superintendent, Dr. Ravindra K Bhat , Deputy Medical Superintendent , Dr Ajith Kamath , Medical Director of the hospital , Dr. Waheeda Banu, Professor,HOD Department of Kayachikitsa were present.
Dr Waheeda Banu briefed about the program. All the dignitaries at the event took part in the lighting of the lamp. Dr Ajith Kamath, Dr Waheeda Banu , Dr Ravindra Bhat headed the consultation at the camp. The welcome address was delivered by Dr Sahana K, Assistant Professor, Department of Kayachikitsa. The vote of thanks was delivered by Dr Pallavi K S, Assistant Professor Department of Kayachikitsa Moderator was Dr Archana K, Assistant Professor Department of Kayachikitsa. Free medicines exclusive for the camp was prepared by PG Scholar Dr Murshida Banu Department of Kayachikitsa as a part of their research work. Other consultants, PG scholars, Internees were present at the occasion. Many patients benefited from the camp.
