The 11th Ayurveda Day programme was organized with great enthusiasm to commemorate and promote the rich heritage, principles, and significance of Ayurveda. The programme was headed by Dr. Shubhasri B.
The programme commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Swathi Suvarna, who warmly welcomed the dignitaries, faculty members, staff, students, and other participants. This was followed by the Vice Principal’s address by Dr. Ajith Kamath, who highlighted the importance of Ayurveda in promoting health and well-being.
The Chief Guest, Dr. Shankaran Namboothiri, was then introduced by Dr. Surabhi P. The Chief Guest delivered an insightful and informative talk emphasizing the relevance and importance of Ayurveda in the present healthcare scenario.
Following the address, a felicitation ceremony was held to honour the Chief Guest, Dr. Shankaran Namboothiri. The Chief Guest was felicitated by the Principal, Vice Principal, and Medical Superintendent, Dr. Udaya D. K.
The programme continued with the prize distribution ceremony, conducted in connection with the National Ayurveda Day celebrations, recognizing and appreciating the achievements and participation of the students.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Vidhya N., who expressed gratitude to the dignitaries, organizers, faculty members, staff, students, and all those who contributed to the successful conduct of the programme.
The entire programme was efficiently compered by Dr. Shivani Rao S. (MC).
A total of 300 student participated in the programme. The event was conducted in a well-organized manner and served as a meaningful platform to celebrate Ayurveda and create awareness about its continued relevance in contemporary healthcare.
