A unit of SCS Group of Institutions Karnataka Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital in their premises celebrated National Ayurveda Day 2023 on Nov 10th on the occasion of Dhanwantari Jayanthi . The guest of honour for the occasion was Dr Jayagovinda Ukkinadka, Director of Sahasraaksha Vaidyashala and P Narayan Bhat Memorial Ayurveda Hospital and Research centre, Kasargood. The Principal Dr Ravi Rao spoke about various activities conducted in relation to National Ayurveda Day. Chief Guest for the Event was Mr. U.K Khalid, who spoke on the scope of Ayurveda. Dr Jayagovind Ukkinadka spoke about his variety of clinical experiences , and also about how one could attain sucess in a Ayurvedic Profession
In accordance to National Ayurveda Day a number of competitions were conducted , the winners were felicitated at the event. Dr Rachana called upon the winners at the event. Vice Principal Dr Jacintha Meena D Souza , Medical Superintendent Dr Uday D K , Medical Director Dr Ajith Kamath M, Deputy medical superintendent Dr Ravindra Bhat , Dr Mohan Kishore were all present at the event. The Welcome address was given away by Dr Shubhasri Associate Professor, Swasthavritta Dept, Vote of thanks was told by Dr Swathi, Assistant Professor, Dept of Shakakyatantra, Dr Shruthi Bhat, Assistant Professor , Dept of Shareera Kriya moderated the event.
