As a part of Vana Mahotsava celebration, Karnataka Ayurveda Medical College, Ashoknagar, Mangaluru, Department of PG studies in Dravya Guna visited Dr Devraj Urs Post Metric Women’s Hostel, Bondel, Mangaluru, on 07-07-2025 and distributed 45 medicinal plants like Aragwada-Cassia fistula, Bakula-Mimusops elangi.
Professor Dr Swapna Bhat, Principal, HOD Department of Dravya Guna, Dr Sridevi, Professor, Dr Srijaya V Prabhu, Associate Professor and Dr Niyathi Associate Professor planted the medicinal plants in backyard of the hostel.
The Undergraduate and Post graduate students of Karnataka Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital took active part in the plantation.
The authorities of Hostel Mrs Rekha Bai -warden, Mrs Geeta bhai, Shwetha, Pushpa, Rathnavathi, Chaithra, cooking staff and the 20 hostel inmates took part in the celebration with enthusiasm.
