The fifth day of the Internship Orientation Program “Shishiksha 2025” began with an insightful session by Dr. Ajith Kamath M, Vice principal ,Professor and Head, Department of Agada Tantra, on the topic “Entrepreneurship Opportunities in AYUSH.” He motivated interns to explore various avenues within the AYUSH sector, emphasizing innovation, clinical entrepreneurship, and self-reliance in professional practice.
The second session was conducted by Dr. Mahanya N. C, Assistant Professor, Department of Koumarabhritya, who focused on OPD and IPD case writing, discharge summaries, neonatal care, and newborn handling. The session provided practical exposure to pediatric case management and documentation in clinical settings.
The third session was led by Dr. Harshavardhana B, Associate Professor, Department of Agada Tantra, who discussed the functioning of the Medical Records Department (MRD) and Documentation Standards. He emphasized the importance of systematic record-keeping and compliance with medico-legal requirements.
The afternoon session was conducted by Dr. Mithun R. G, Associate Professor, Department of Moulika Siddhanta, who delivered an informative talk on AYUSH Regulatory Bodies, Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), Medical Value Travel, and Digital Visa. He highlighted the evolving landscape of digital healthcare integration and the global outreach of AYUSH systems.
Interns participated enthusiastically throughout the day, gaining valuable insights from each session. The day concluded successfully, leaving the participants
more confident, informed, and inspired to embark on their professional journey.
