The Department of PG Studies in Kayachikitsa, Karnataka Ayurveda Medical College Hospital, Ashok Nagar, organized a Free Medical Camp on Diabetes Mellitus on 18th December 2025.
The program was inaugurated by Dr. Sajith Mangalseri, Principal, KAMC and addressed the gathering on the management of diabetes mellitus through Ayurvedic medicines .
The inauguration was marked by the lighting of the lamp .
A brief introduction to the program was delivered by Dr.waheeda Banu, Professor and Head, Department of Kayachikitsa,highlighting the objectives of the camp, and creating awareness about diabetes mellitus and its Ayurvedic management.
The Program commenced with a Prayer rendered by Dr.Deepashri ,Intern.The welcome address was delivered by Dr. Sahana M, Associate Professor.The vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Anita S, Associate Professor The Master of Ceremony was efficiently conducted by Dr. Savita Purushotham, Assistant Professor, Department of Kayachikitsa.
The program commenced with a prayer rendered by Dr. Deepashree, Intern.
The camp witnessed the active participation of consultants, postgraduate scholars, interns, and hospital staff. The program received a good response from the community and concluded successfully with valuable participation from patients.
