On the eve of World Arthritis Day.
The Department of PG Studies in Kayachikitsa, Karnataka Ayurveda Medical College Hospital, Hoigebail, Ashoknagar, organized an Arthritis Awareness & Free Medical Camp on 30th October,2025.
Dr Sajith Mangalassery, Principal, KAMC inaugurated the camp, addressed the gathering about the management of Arthritis through Ayurvedic medicine & congratulated the department for organizing the camp.
Dr Uday K, Medical Superintendent also graced the occasion.
The welcome address was delivered by Dr. Ravindra K Bhat, Professor Dept of Kayachikitsa.
All the dignitaries at the event took part in the lighting of the lamp.
The brief introduction about the programme was delivered by Dr Waheeda Banu, HOD & professor Dept of Kayachikitsa regarding screening, consultation, and creating awareness on Arthritis and its Ayurvedic management.
Dr Waheeda Banu, Dr Ravindra Bhat headed the consultation at the camp.
Other consultants, PG scholars, Internees, Hospital staffs were present at the occasion. Faculty members actively examined patients and provided advice on diet, lifestyle, and medication. Free Ayurvedic medicines were distributed.
The vote of thanks was delivered by Dr Krithi NK, Assistant Professor Department of Kayachikitsa
