On the eve of National Ayurveda Day with the theme “Ayurveda for Planet and People”, an awareness talk was organized at Podar International School on the topic “The Silent Epidemic: Social Media Addiction” to School Children by Dr KrithiNeerpady K, Assistant professor, Dept of Kayachikitsa.
The session was held on 6th September 2025 and highlighted the adverse effects of excessive social media use on student’s physical and mental health and stressed the importance of balanced lifestyle practices from Ayurveda,and regulated screen time. Around 70 enthusiastic school children participated in the awareness session, making the program lively and interactive.”
