On account of Sushruta Jayanti, Department of PG Studies in Shalya tantra, Karnataka Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital, Ashok Nagar, Mangalore organised an online guest lecture session on the topic ‘Clinical Orthopaedics in Ayurveda ‘ on 15/07/2024 between 2pm -4pm at 4th Year classroom, KAMC. To begin with the programme, prayer was delivered by Prajna, final year student. The session was inaugurated by Dr. Jacintha Meena D’Souza, Vice Principal, KAMC, Mangalore by lighting the lamp, followed by welcoming speech by Dr. Elizabeth. P. John, HOD and Professor , Dept of Shalya tantra. Thereafter, the final year students were addressed by Dr. Gikku. Alias. Benny, Chief consultant, Vettukattil Ayurveda hospital, Ernakulam. Dr. Vidhya. N, Asst professor, Dept of Shalya tantra, Dr. Meera. K. Baby, Asst professor, Dept of Shalya tantra and other faculties were also present for the occasion. The session was anchored by Pragati. Ganesh. Shetty and well organised by students of final year BAMS batch.
