CME series Spandana on Fundamentals of ECG

One day CME series Spandana on Fundamentals of ECG was jointly organised by Department of Roganidana and Department of Kayachikitsa Karnataka Ayurveda Medical College on 21st November 2024 In the KAMC Auditorium. The formal program for the event was presided by the Administrative officer of SCS Group Of Institutions Mr U K Khalid, the dignitaries on the Dias where Principal of KAMC Dr Ravi Rao, Vice Principal Dr Jacintha Meena DSouza, Medical Director Ajith Kamath, Chief guest of the ceremony was Dr Prashant Jain Professor and HOD Department of PG studies Roganidana Alvas Ayurveda Medical College, Also on the Dias were HOD and Professor of Kayachikitsa Department, Dr Waheeda Banu and Professor of Roganidana Department Dr Subramanya Shenoy were present. The Presidential address was given by Mr UK Khalid he spoke on the Importance of knowing the interpretation ECG by Every Vaidya. The Chief Guest Dr Prashanth Jain also stressed about its role in Day to Day Clinical practice. The formal program concluded with the vote of thanks rendered by Dr Arun Raj Associate Professor Department of Roganidana, MC of the ceremony was Dr Santoshini, Assistant Professor, Department of Kayachikitsa and the welcome speech was given by Dr Archana K Paniker, Assistant Professor, Department of Kayachikitsa.

Soon after the formal function the Session on fundamentals of ECG was dealt by Dr Prashant Jain covering all the basics of understanding of ECG in easily understandable way to the students of second professional BAMS and final year BAMS. The second the session of ECG in cardiac disorders was dealt by Dr Ravi Shankar Shenoy Professor and HOD Department of Roganidana Muniyal Ayurveda Medical College. The concepts were explained in very precise and thought provoking manner to the Students. All the student and staff community made most use of the valuable insight shared in the sessions. The Program was a overall sucess and Everyone who attended gained lot of information from both the sessions.
