World Mental Health Day Awareness Program was conducted by the Department of PG Studies in Kayachikitsa, Karnataka Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital, on 30th October from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at the KAMC Auditorium.<\/div>
The theme for World Mental Health Day was \u201cAccess to Services: Mental Health in Catastrophes and Emergencies.\u201d<\/div><\/div>
The resource persons were Dr. Carolin P. D\u2019Souza and Dr. Dhananjay H. Bhat ,who delivered insightful presentations on \u201cYouth Mental Health\u201d and \u201cConcept of\u00a0Counseling in Clinical Practice.\u201d<\/div><\/div>
The program was graced by Dr. Sajith Mangalsheri, Principal, KAMC, Dr. Ajith Kamath, Vice Principal, KAMC, and Dr. Waheeda Banu, Professor and Head, Department of PG Studies in Kayachikitsa.<\/div>
Dr.Waheeda Banu had delivered welcome Address.<\/div>
The Master of Ceremony done by Dr. Santoshini, Assistant Professor and the Vote of Thanks was delivered by Dr. Sahana, Associate Professor, KAMC, Mangalore<\/div><\/div>
This awareness program proved to be highly beneficial for all the internees, postgraduate scholars, and final-year undergraduate students, enhancing their understanding of mental health and its holistic management.<\/div><\/div><\/div>
