The fourth day of the Internship Orientation Program \u201cShishiksha 2025\u201d began with an insightful session by Dr. Kripa D, Assistant Professor, Department of Koumarabhritya, on the topics Immunisation and Vaccination, Cold Chain Management, Anthropometric Assessment, and Swarnaprashana. She highlighted the significance of preventive child healthcare and the role of Ayurveda in strengthening immunity during early\u00a0childhood.<\/div><\/div>
The second session was conducted by Dr. Vani, Professor, Department of Prasuti Tantra and Stri Roga, who focused on Labour Theatre Etiquettes. She emphasized the importance of discipline, teamwork, and preparedness in maintaining efficiency and patient safety in clinical environments.<\/div><\/div>
The third session was led by Dr. Raksha S, Assistant Professor, Department of Prasuti Tantra and Stri Roga. She elaborated on Systemic Examination related to PTSR, Prescription Writing, and conducted hands-on training in gynecological examinations, providing interns with valuable practical exposure and confidence in clinical handling.<\/div><\/div>
The fourth session was conducted by Dr. Sukanya V. P, Assistant Professor, Department of Swasthavritta, who spoke on Primary Health Care. Her session underlined the preventive and promotive aspects of community health and the importance of effective primary healthcare delivery.<\/div><\/div>
The afternoon session was delivered by Dr. Surekha Pai, Medical Superintendent, Professor and Head, Department of Kayachikitsa, Alva\u2019s Ayurveda Medical College, Moodbidri, on the topic \u201cAwareness and Orientation of NABH Standards Updated for Ayurveda Hospitals.\u201d She elaborated on the principles of quality assurance, patient safety, and the necessity of adhering to NABH protocols for institutional excellence.<\/div><\/div>
Interns participated enthusiastically throughout the day, gaining meaningful insights from each session. The day concluded successfully, leaving the participants more confident, informed, and inspired to embark on their professional journey.<\/div>
