The third day of the Internship Orientation Program \u201cShishiksha 2025\u201d began with an enlightening session by Dr. Sahana M, Associate Professor, Department of Kayachikitsa, on the topic \u201cBridging Knowledge to Clinical Practice.\u201d She emphasized the importance of integrating theoretical knowledge with practical clinical application and shared valuable guidance for effective patient care.<\/div><\/div>
The\u00a0second session was conducted by Dr. Krithi N. K, who focused on documentation, record maintenance, and clinical case presentation skills, stressing their significance in cultivating professionalism and accountability during internship training.<\/div><\/div>
The third session was handled by Dr. Manushree M. M, Assistant Professor, Department of Shalakya Tantra, who discussed OPD and IPD case handling and various clinical aspects related to Shalakya Tantra, providing practical insights into patient management.<\/div><\/div>
The afternoon session featured two informative talks \u2014 Dr. Raghavendra Rao, Professor and Head, Department of Swasthavritta, delivered an insightful lecture on biomedical waste management, hospital infection control, and patient safety goals; followed by Dr. Swapna Bhat, Professor and Head, Department of Dravyaguna, who spoke on the Drugs and Magic Remedies (Objectionable Advertisements) Act, highlighting its relevance in ethical medical practice.<\/div><\/div>
Interns participated enthusiastically throughout the day, gaining valuable insights from each session.
