The sixth day of the Internship Orientation Program “Shishiksha 2025” began with an interactive and insightful session by Dr. Shubhashri B, Associate Professor, and Dr. Navaneetha R, Assistant Professor, Department of Swasthavritta. The session included hands-on training in formulating evidence-based diet charts through systematic evaluation of clinical, nutritional, and lifestyle factors. It also covered yoga protocols for selected diseases and an engaging roleplay activity offering guidance on diurnal and seasonal regimens for holistic health maintenance.
The second session was conducted by Dr. Waheeda Banu, Professor and Head, Department of Postgraduate Studies in Kayachikitsa, who delivered an informative lecture on Hospital Information Management System (HIMS). She emphasized the importance of digital documentation, patient data management, and efficient hospital workflow systems.
The afternoon session was led by Dr. Sukesh A, Professor, Department of Shalyatantra, Alva’s Ayurveda Medical College, Moodbidri, who presented an engaging session on Casualty and Emergency Management. He explained essential emergency response protocols, first aid measures, and the role of interns in handling critical situations with confidence and composure.
Interns participated enthusiastically throughout the day, gaining meaningful insights from each session. The day concluded successfully, leaving the participants more skilled, confident, and inspired to embark on their professional journey.
