National Ayurveda Day, Department of PG studies in Dravyaguna vijnana, Karnataka Ayurveda Medical College, A Unit of SCS group of institutions, Manglore organised an exhibition & expo of Medicinal plants for general public on 22-09-2025. The exhibition showcased rare live medicinal plants with a note on their uses, some drugs which are used in the dry form were also displayed. Rare plants collected from many places and stored in preservatives in jars were also a part of the exhibit. Dr Swapna, Principal and HOD of Department of Dravyaguna Vijnana inaugurated the expo and gave awareness regarding the uses of the herbal plants in disease as well healthy state. Staff of the Department of Dravyaguna Vijnana and PG students took active part in explaining the herbs to around 150 visitors.
