Workshop on Practical training in Herbal Medicine and Therapeutics was organised by Department of P.G. studies in Dravyaguna Vijnana, Karnataka Ayurveda Medical College, Mangalore on 13th January 2025 at KAMC Auditorium. The formal program for the event was inaugurated by the Administrative officer of SCS Group Of Institutions Mr U K Khalid. The dignitaries on the Dias where Principal of KAMC, Dr Ravi Rao S., Vice Principal Dr Jacintha Meena DSouza, Resource person Dr Shripathy D., Professor and Head, Department of Industrial Pharmacy, Srinivas College of Pharmacy, Valachil, Mangalore and Head and Professor of Dravyaguna Department, Dr Swapna Bhat. The formal program concluded with the vote of thanks rendered by Dr Srijaya V. Prabhu, Associate Professor, Department of Dravyaguna, Master of the ceremony was Dr Anusha, PG scholar, Department of Dravyaguna and the welcome speech was given by Dr Swapna Bhat, Head and Professor, Department of Dravyaguna. Soon after the formal function the Session on Practical training on Herbal Medicine and Therapeutics was dealt by Dr Shripathy D. The concepts were explained in very precise and thought provoking manner to the Students of two batches of Second Professional BAMS, Final year Professional BAMS students and PG Scholars. Followed by hands on training session for Second Professional BAMS students of senior batch at Dravyaguna department Pharmacognosy Lab.
