On February 3rd 2025 the inauguration of Amrita Dhara OPD and speciality OPD took place in Karnataka Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital Ashoknagar, Mangalore. The OPD was inaugurated by the Senate member, Vaishali Sreejith and Mr UK Khalid Administration officer of SCS Group Of Institutions.
The new OPD s are intended to cater to varied patient needs. The Amritadhara OPD is the Agadatantra OPD and it deals with skin infections, visha Chikitsa, cancer and its palliative management. Other speciality OPD s inaugurated were Endocrinology OPD, Gastroenterology OPD Neuro care OPD(Medha), Migraine and cosmetology OPD Fertility Clinic and an OPD related to Psychiatric diseases called Manaswasthya.
The dignitaries who came for the event event applauded the management for the nobel cause of opening OPD needed for the current population. The event was a grand success. All the OPD s have started functioning regularly catering to patient needs now.
