On account of International day against drug abuse and Illicit drug trafficking, Department of Agada Tantra Evam Vidhi Vaidyaka & NSS unit of Karnataka Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital, Ashok nagar, Mangaluru in association with Urwa Police Station, Mangalore city commissionerate, organised rally on Prevention of Drug Abuse on the theme ‘Let’s invest On Prevention” on 26/6/2024 at 8.50 am. Rally was flagged off by Mr Pratap Singh Thorat, ACP, Mangalore who addressed the students and media regarding the need to abstain from Drugs and the way to achieve it. Mr. U.K Khalid, Administrative Officer SCS group of institutions appreciated the KAMC students for achieving a Drug free campus. Dr Ravi Rao S, Principal, KAMC, Professor and Head of department of Agada Tantra Dr Jyothi R Joshi, NSS coordinator Dr.Shruti Bhat, faculties of KAMC, Staff of Urwa of police station were present on this occasion. Rally started from the college campus to Urwa stores and back to the college campus. Two informative Street plays were performed by final year and 2nd professional BAMS students at Urwa stores to create awareness among the general public.
