Karnataka Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital, Hoigebail, Ashoknagar, inaugurated the Free Medical Camp for Cervical Spondylitis, an ayurvedic cure for neck pain organized by the Department of Panchakarma.
The camp was inaugurated by Dr. Sajith, Principal, Karnataka Ayurveda Medical college, who also delivered Presidential speech on this occasion. Dr Veena Vinayaka, Medical Director conveyed the incidence of cervical spondylitis being present in younger generation too due to life-style modalities and eating habits.
The occasion was graced by the presence of Dr. Ajith Kamath, Vice Principal; Dr. Uday D. K, Medical Superintendent; and Dr. Vijayalakshmi, Deputy Medical Superintendent and from panchakarma department Dr Veena Kumari, Associate Professor along with other teaching and non-teaching faculty members.
From the post graduate Department of Panchakarma, Dr. Ananya Leelavathi, final year PG scholar, compered the programme and welcomed the gathering. Dr. Rajeshwari T., Associate Professor, delivered a brief note on the procedure and explained its benefits in conditions such as Cervical Spondylitis and neck pain. Dr. Sudhehi V. Acharya, Assistant Professor, proposed the vote of thanks.
The camp will be conducted from April 30th to May 30th free of cost. The public has been invited to participate and avail the benefits of the Panchakarma therapy.
