The two-day workshop “Shringara – Mastering the Science and Art of Cosmetology” was successfully organized at Karnataka Ayurveda Medical College (KAMC) in collaboration with Beyond Skin. The program aimed to integrate traditional Ayurvedic principles with modern cosmetology practices, providing both academic knowledge and hands-on clinical training.
The workshop featured expert-led sessions and practical demonstrations focusing on skill-based learning. Dr. Amala Jyothi and Dr. Varada Mohan served as the resource persons and delivered insightful sessions that greatly enriched the program.
The inaugural function was graced by Principal, Dr. Sajith M, and Vice Principal, Dr. Ajit Kamath, who appreciated the initiative and emphasized the importance of such training programs in enhancing professional competence.
Organized by the Department of Shalakya Tantra in association with the Department of RSBK, the workshop witnessed active participation from faculty members, practitioners, postgraduate students, interns, and undergraduate students. Certificates were distributed, and the program concluded with a formal vote of thanks.
The event was a grand success, enriching participants with knowledge, skills, and professional insight.
