An educational seminar on “Back to Roots: Ayurveda for Global Health” was successfully organized by the Health, Hygiene and Wellness Club of SCS First Grade College, Mangaluru, on the occasion of World Health Day 2026. The theme of the event aligned with the global message, “Together for Health, Stand with Science.”
The keynote speaker for the session was Dr. Shubhasri B., Associate Professor, Department of Swasthavritta and Yoga, Karnataka Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital , Mangaluru. The talk was emphasizing on the relevance of Ayurveda in today’s global health scenario. The session highlighted the importance of traditional practices, preventive healthcare, lifestyle modifications, and holistic well-being rooted in Ayurvedic principles.
The program was coordinated by Ms. Kethana K. S. and Mrs. Sangeetha Shanuboga (Conveners), with support from Ms. Sneha (Student Convener). The event was conducted under the guidance of Mr. Hardik P. Chauhan, Principal.
