In observance of inter National women’s Day 2026, the Department of Prasuti Tantra and Stree Roga, Karnataka Ayurveda Medical College, Mangalore in association with emami zandu limited organized a free Bone minernal density(BMD) test on 9th march and followed by free health check up and medicine distribution for women for 5 days till 13th march from morning 9am to evening 4pm
The program was inaugurated by
Principal Dr. Sajith, Vice Principal Dr. Ajith kamath, Dr Udaya D.K.,Medical Superintendent, Medical director Dr Veena vinayak, DMS Dr Vijayalaxmi Rathod, Dr Asha K, HOD Department of Prasuti tantra& streeroga Karnataka Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital and Emami zandu sales representative Sunil bhat were present at the event.
Welcome speech was done by professor Dr. Vani, Assistant professor Dr. Raksha was the M.C. for the event and vote of thanks was delivered by assistant professor Dr. Gopika raj department of prasuti tantra and stree roga karnataka ayurveda medical college.
The camp drew participation from nearly 50-55 people who benefitted from the services.
