REPORT ON NURSES DAY CELEBRATION

The Nurses Day Celebration was organized with great enthusiasm and respect to honor the dedicated service and valuable contribution of nurses in the healthcare profession. The celebration aimed to recognize the compassion, commitment, and hard work of nursing professionals in promoting quality patient care and community health.

The program began with a prayer song followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Chief Guest and other dignitaries in tribute to Florence Nightingale, the pioneer of modern nursing.

The welcome speech was delivered by Dr Meera K Baby Associate professor Dpt of shalya tantra who warmly welcomed the Chief Guest, dignitaries, faculty members,hospital staffs & students.

The Chief Guest Professor  Lolita  D’souza Principal SCS college of Nusing Science addressed the gathering and spoke about the vital role of nurses in healthcare services and appreciated the efforts of nursing staff and encouraged students and professionals to continue serving society with empathy and professionalism.

Dr Ajith K kamath prof. & vice principal KAMCH shared their thoughts and appreciation for the nursing fraternity and acknowledged the tireless service of nurses in hospitals and communities and motivated the students and staff to uphold ethical values, teamwork, and excellence in patient care.

Dr.Uday D K medical superintendent KAMCH and Dr Veena vinayak medical director KAMCH also delivered an inspiring speech about the valuable contribution of nursing sisters in hospitals and their continuous support to patients and doctors.

As a token of gratitude and appreciation, mementos were presented to the nursing sisters and distinguished guests. The gesture recognized their dedicated service, hard work, and commitment toward patient welfare and healthcare development.

The nursing staffs Mrs Shanthi, Mrs Flavia, Mrs Reeta,  and Miss pavithra presented a heartfelt song highlighting the values of dedication, compassion, and selfless service in the nursing profession. The performance beautifully reflected the caring nature and commitment of nurses toward patient care and humanity.

The vote of thanks was delivered by Dr Abhinethri Hegde Professor dpt of shalya tantra, who expressed sincere gratitude to the Chief Guest, dignitaries, faculty members, nursing staff, students, and all the participants for their valuable presence and support in making the Nurses Day Celebration a grand success.

Special appreciation was extended to the organizing committee and volunteers for their dedicated efforts and coordination throughout the program. Gratitude was also conveyed to the nursing staff for their enthusiastic participation and meaningful performances that added joy and inspiration to the celebration.
