The Shalakya Tantra  is a specialized department of Ayurveda dedicated to the prevention, diagnosis, and management of diseases affecting the eyes, ears, nose, throat, head, and oral cavity. 

The Department of Kayachikitsa provides holistic Ayurveda care for both physical and mental health conditions. Kayachikitsa focuses on the treatment of internal diseases such as digestive, metabolic, respiratory and skin disorders. 

Ayurveda is an ancient system of Medicine which is a science as well as philosophy. Hence it is known as Science of Life. It has mainly 8 Branches which covers all gambits of human life.

AgadaTantra is one of the eight branches of Ayurveda which explains the key to disease free life. Hence Ayurveda is also known as Agada veda. All the major classical texts of Ayurveda describe this science elaborately.
Swasthavritta is the branch of Ayurvedic system of medicine.Swasthavritta always trails as a pioneering science and plays an important role in preserving as well as promoting the health and prevents the onset of diseases.
Prasuti Tantra Evam Stri Roga is an important branch of Ayurveda mainly dealing with delivery of a child (Prasuti Tantra/Obstetrics) and diseases pertaining to female reproductive system (Stri Roga/Gynaecology).
